The Strategic Commercial Execution & Sales Excellence Manager is responsible for translating the Aesthetics Business Unit's commercial strategy into exceptional field execution. Reporting to the Business Unit Head, this role serves as the critical link between brand strategy and sales execution, ensuring national priorities are effectively implemented across the commercial sales organization.

Working in close partnership with Marketing, Sales, Medical, and Commercial Operations, this individual is accountable for driving strategic pull-through by leading national and regional sales meetings, equipping the sales organization with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to execute commercial priorities, and reinforcing execution through onboarding, training, coaching, and field excellence.

Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional stakeholders while driving accountability throughout the sales organization.

Commercial Execution

  • Translate business unit priorities and brand strategies into clear, actionable field execution plans

  • Ensure successful deployment and adoption of key commercial initiatives across the sales organization

  • Partner with Marketing to ensure execution considerations are incorporated into business and brand planning

  • Develop execution frameworks that create consistency across regions while allowing Regional Sales Managers to tailor local implementation whereappropriate.

  • Drive alignment between strategic priorities and field activities

  • Monitor field adoption of strategic initiatives andidentifybarriers to execution, working cross-functionally to address gaps

  • Act as a commercial thought partner across Marketing, Sales, Medical, and Commercial Operations to ensure alignment between strategy development and field execution.

Sales Excellence & Capability Building

  • Lead onboarding, training and development programs for new and existing sales team members

  • Develop capability-building programs focused on product knowledge, customer engagement, business acumen and strategic selling.

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to identify capability gaps and develop targeted plans; and embed coaching and execution excellence into everyday leadership practices

  • Support coaching initiatives that improve field effectiveness and performance outcomes

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance

Field Effectiveness & Performance Improvement

  • Drive accountability with Regional Sales Managers for execution excellence, CRM compliance, call quality, customer reach, and frequency

  • Analyze field execution and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities

  • Partner with Sales Leaders to improve adoption of commercial initiatives, programs and best practices

  • Track key execution metrics and recommend actions to enhance commercial performance

  • Support launch readiness and execution for new products and commercial initiatives

National Business Meetings & POA Leadership

  • Lead the planning and execution of National Business Meetings, POAs, regional meetings and training events

  • Partner with Brand, Medical, and Sales Leadership teams to develop agendas and content that align with business priorities

  • Ensure meetings drive capability development, execution readiness, and organizational alignment

  • Evaluate meeting effectiveness and implement continuous improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.

  • 5 -10 years of progressive pharmaceutical, medical device, aesthetic, or healthcare commercial experience

  • Experience in Sales, Sales Leadership, Marketing, Training, Commercial Excellence or Sales Effectiveness roles

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects and influencing without direct authority

  • Experience designing and delivering training, sales meetings, and capability-building programs preferred

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely in Ontario. Regular field travel is required, along with periodic attendance at Galderma's corporate office in downtown Toronto as needed to support business priorities. The annual base salary range for the role is 125,000 - 135,000 CAD.
