OVERVIEW 

A sharp strategist and compelling storyteller who consistently generates insights that drive ideas, campaigns and client success. Adeptly works across clients and teams to challenge thinking, inspire creativity and foster alignment. Develops briefs that unlock great work and helps teams ultimately connect deep audience understanding to outcomes. A combination of intellectual rigor, creative thinking, strong interpersonal skills, curiosity and contagious energy will ensure a good fit within our agency and culture.


RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS 

  • Develop learning plans and guide research and insight gathering.
  • Translate research and data into clear, actionable insights that drive creative and measurable results.
  • Lead brief development that unlocks creativity and enables teams to deliver distinctive, memorable work.
  • Partner closely with account leads in the client planning process, helping define the problem and reveal the opportunity. 
  • Collaborate with integrated teams to build strategies and plans that yield measurable impact.
  • Consistently bring the energy and curiosity that inspires ideas and action.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions that elevate client brands and outcomes.
  • Support creative teams in concepting and ideation, feeding insights to strategically set up and pitch the work.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure cross-functional execution stays aligned with strategic insights and delivers against the plan.
  • Provide agency leadership in brand and messaging strategy as well as journey and persona development.
  • Monitor competitors, identify whitespace and provide insights that enable differentiation of our clients’ brands.
  • Lead development of brand platforms (positioning, tone, etc. 
  • Exhibit leadership within the Brand Strategy team and support continuous improvement of the brand strategy approach, implementation and execution.
  • Willingness and ability to accept talent lead responsibilities of other team members in the future.

EXPERIENCE 

  • 10 - 15 years of integrated agency experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in a brand strategist / planning role, with clear ownership of brand strategy.
  • Experience in and passion for the Agriculture, Food and/or Companion Animal Care segments.
  • Advertising agency experience required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of bringing ingenuity to complex problems and inspiring teams to find unique solutions


BENEFITS & COMPENSATION

The pay range is $120,000 - $165,000

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.
