Key Roles and Responsibilities:

· Serve as primary point of contact with clients for discovery bioanalytical projects - responsible for managing study logistics, keeping sponsors informed of study progress, and delivering quality data under strict timelines

· Provide technical training and mentoring to junior staff to foster their career growth

· Work closely and collaboratively with the business development group to establish new clients and maintain/grow existing client relationships

· Independently develop innovative solutions to solve challenging study objectives

· Evaluate and implement novel scientific approaches, technologies, or tools

· Identify and lead operational process improvement initiatives

· Perform all other related duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or another related scientific field with a minimum of 8 years (BS) or 6 years (MS) directly related industry experience. Doctorate degree with at least 2 years of experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered as substitution for the specific requirements outlined above.

· Full competency in all aspects of bioanalysis by LC-MS/MS including method development, execution of quantitative assays, critical review of data, and communication of scientific results

· Fluency in the use, troubleshooting, and maintenance of UPLC systems and triple quadrupole mass spectrometers

· Subject matter expert in sample processing techniques for extraction of small molecule therapeutics and endogenous compounds from biological matrices

· Experience in quantitation of large molecules by LC-MS (proteins, ADCs, oligonucleotides) a plus

· Demonstrated success in the development or deployment of new technologies or processes

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment while remaining innovative, flexible, resourceful, and efficient

· Highly organized and detail-oriented in data recording and review

· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

· Previous experience mentoring junior staff required

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); prior experience working with laboratory information systems (LIMS/ELN) to manage sample tracking and analysis is preferred.

Personal Attributes:

In addition to the attributes described above, the ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, open-minded, self-aware, flexible, data-driven and objective in its evaluation, persistent and optimistic in the face of challenges and uncertainty, and willing to make decisions and take ownership for assigned responsibilities.

Compensation:
