ROLE OVERVIEW

The People & Culture Lead will support BioLabs' people strategy through a combination of operational HR, talent acquisition, employee experience, and administrative support. This role partners closely with the Director of People & Culture, to enhance and coordinate employee programs, processes, and engagement initiatives while ensuring employees have the support and tools to thrive throughout their BioLabs career. This is a hybrid position with a preference being close to one of our sites in the US (MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, NC, TX, CA).


RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

  • Support full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition activities.
  • Partner with hiring managers on recruitment needs and interview coordination.
  • Manage candidate experience, ATS administration, offers, background checks, and onboarding documentation.
  • Support internship, co-op, and campus recruiting programs.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, documentation, and employee transitions.
  • Support payroll, benefits, and work authorization administration.

Culture & Employee Experience

  • Support employee engagement, culture, and people initiatives.
  • Promote BioLabs' values, mission, and collaborative culture.
  • Assist with HR policy implementation and compliance initiatives.

HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Support HR systems, reporting, surveys, and employee programs.
  • Provide employees with guidance and day-to-day HR support.

Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Operations, Customer service, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional presence
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/recruiting systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
  • Ability to work independently while partnering with cross-functional teams
