Job description

Description
Built on service. Powered by people.
Impact exists because a small group of industry leaders believed companies in our space were doing it wrong. Many prioritized margins while the people doing the work and the clients relying on it became an afterthought. Impact was built differently: invest in great people, trust them to do great work, and deliver the kind of service clients remember. That approach helped us grow from a small office technology company into a national managed services provider, while remaining privately owned and people-first.
What makes Impact special is that growth has never come at the expense of the values that got us here. We continue to reinvest in our people, our capabilities, and the opportunities ahead so employees can grow alongside the business. We've built something special, but we're far from finished. The people who join Impact now will help define what comes next.
Our North Star: Client Centricity
Job Overview
Impact Networking is building one of the region's premier Managed AV practices, and the Senior Audio Video Integrator is the senior technical seat at the center of that work. This role leads end-to-end delivery of complex AV projects, including multi-room conferencing, hybrid meeting spaces, advanced control systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms environments, DSP tuning, vendor technical escalations, and ongoing support for managed AV clients. As the most senior hands-on integrator on the team, this person partners with clients, internal technical teams, project leads, and vendors from design through implementation and continual support while setting the technical standard for the broader AV team.
Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of complex AV projects, including multi-room conferencing, hybrid meeting spaces, presentation rooms, huddle rooms, LED video walls, digital signage, video streaming, and interactive collaboration spaces.
  • Program, configure, and tune DSP and control systems, including Biamp Tesira, QSC Q-SYS, Kramer, Shure, and BSS platforms, with responsibility for EQ, AEC, gain structure, and system performance.
  • Administer Microsoft Teams Rooms environments through Teams Rooms Pro Management, including firmware, policies, health baselines, alert thresholds, and fleet-level support.
  • Serve as the Tier 2/3 escalation owner for Managed AV service issues, performing root-cause analysis and documenting repeatable resolution paths.
  • Coordinate with project managers on scheduling, logistics, subcontractor oversight, client walkthroughs, and project closeout requirements.
  • Own vendor technical escalations and portal administration for platforms and partners such as Microsoft, Poly/HP, Kramer, Planar, and ScreenCloud.
  • Conduct end-user training and produce closeout documentation, including as-builts, test reports, user guides, and support documentation.
  • Mentor AV technicians and integrators, helping establish technical standards, documentation expectations, and scalable service practices.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of AV experience with senior field and escalation responsibility within an AV integrator, managed service provider, or similar technical services environment.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Poly/HP, Kramer Control, DSP platforms, and enterprise AV support practices.
  • Advanced understanding of AV networking concepts, including QoS, IGMP/multicast, VLAN design, and network-connected AV systems.
  • Ability to read, produce, troubleshoot, and correct full AV documentation sets, including as-builts, test reports, and user-facing support materials.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to lead technical conversations, explain solutions clearly, and support end users through adoption.
  • Experience managing vendor escalations and partnering with manufacturers, service providers, project managers, and internal technical teams.
  • Dante experience preferred, including Dante Level 1-2 certification.
  • Preferred certifications include AVIXA CTS, AVIXA CTS-I, AVIXA MTR Training, Microsoft MS-700, and Microsoft AZ-900.
  • Additional preferred certifications include Microsoft MD-102 and advanced manufacturer certifications from Poly, Kramer, Q-SYS, Biamp, or related AV platforms.
  • Valid driver's license required. Some projects may require out-of-area or overnight travel.
