Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Reconditioning Manager with Tint experience for our partner dealers in Bradenton, Florida!

Job Description:  Xcite Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Reconditioning Manager with window tint and appearance services oversight to lead reconditioning operations within a dealership environment. This role is responsible for managing people, workflow, quality, and turnaround times to ensure vehicles meet dealership standards prior to frontline readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily automotive reconditioning center operations, including window tint, detailing, vehicle appearance, and related dealership services.
  • Supervise, schedule, train, and manage automotive technicians while monitoring productivity, attendance, workmanship, and performance.
  • Manage vehicle workflow from intake through reconditioning, quality control, and final delivery.
  • Prioritize dealership inventory and assign work to meet production goals and turnaround-time expectations.
  • Provide hands-on oversight of automotive window tint installation, including heat shrinking, film application, tint removal, pattern cutting, and quality inspection.
  • Inspect completed vehicles for quality, identify defects or rework, and ensure all services meet company and dealership standards.
  • Track key performance indicators, including production volume, technician productivity, labor efficiency, turnaround time, quality, and rework.
  • Communicate vehicle status, delays, and completion timelines with dealership sales, service, used-car, and management teams.
  • Manage third-party vendors, inventory, tint film, tools, supplies, and operational resources.
  • Enforce safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and automotive reconditioning quality standards.

Must-Have Qualifications: 

  • At least 2–3 years of professional automotive window tint installation experience.
  • Hands-on experience with heat shrinking, film installation, pattern cutting, tint removal, and final quality inspection.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience in an automotive environment.
  • Experience supervising technicians, assigning work, and managing daily production workflow.
  • Ability to identify tint defects, quality issues, and required rework.
  • Experience managing vehicle priorities, production goals, and turnaround time.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide hands-on tinting or production support when needed.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing an automotive reconditioning center, tint shop, detail department, or dealership operation.
  • Previous dealership or used-vehicle reconditioning experience.
  • Experience using tint plotters or computer-cutting software.
  • Experience with detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, paint protection film, or vehicle wraps.
  • Experience tracking productivity, quality, labor efficiency, rework, and store performance.
  • Experience training and developing automotive technicians.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors or subcontractors.

  • Automotive Reconditioning Manager or Recon Supervisor (dealership environment)
