At Elim Christian Services, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated paraprofessionals to support our students with autism while becoming part of a positive, welcoming team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers with classroom instruction and daily learning activities
  • Observe and manage behavior of students according to approved procedures
  • Implement behavior management techniques as instructed by the teacher and/or behavior therapist
  • Supervise and observe assigned student(s) to maintain order among the students in the classroom, on school grounds, and during school outings
  • Assist students with personal care needs as required
  • Supervise students and promote positive behavior in a supportive environment

Schedule

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 8:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
  • Includes participation in a 6-week Extended School Year (ESY) program

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $23.99 – $24.74, with an option to distribute earnings year-round
