Job description

Job Title: IT Project Manager (ePMO - Cybersecurity & Applications)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly structured, detail-oriented IT Project Manager to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO). In this role, you will act as the driving force behind complex Cybersecurity and Application Development projects, ensuring deliverables are met with precision and quality. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of project documentation-from Charters and RACI matrices to RAID logs and financial forecasting. The ideal candidate is technically literate enough to facilitate architect-level discussions without being "hands-on" in the code, and thrives in a high-governance environment where accountability and process-driven execution are the standards.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Project Delivery: Support the ePMO by executing work assignments within prescribed timeframes and quality standards; drive teams to meet deliverables while remaining flexible to pivot as needed.
โ€ข Technical Facilitation: Lead discussions across architects, developers, and business partners. You must demonstrate enough technical comprehension to manage decisions and follow-ups without slowing down delivery.
โ€ข Financial Management: Proactively manage project financials, including monitoring budget vs. actuals, tracking burn rates, and identifying funding or scope risks before they impact the project.
โ€ข Documentation & Governance: Maintain the "Project Workbook" and all mandatory artifacts, including Project Charters, Status Reports, Executive Summaries, and RACI matrices.
โ€ข Risk Mitigation: Own the RAID log (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies); identify cross-functional dependencies and escalate risks appropriately.
โ€ข Meeting Leadership: Facilitate project meetings, capture clear and actionable outcomes/decisions, and drive the team through rigorous follow-up.
โ€ข Tools & Platforms: Navigate PPM tools for governance and Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog tracking, sprint awareness, and developer coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements
โ€ข Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional experience in a Healthcare and/or IT environment.
โ€ข Experience:
o2+ years of relevant experience in IT or Healthcare IT.
oProven experience managing Application Development projects in regulated or complex environments.
โ€ข Software Mastery:
oProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Pivot Tables are a must).
oExperience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile delivery tools.
oFamiliarity with PPM tools, SharePoint, or Power Platform is highly desired.
โ€ข Core Skills:
oExceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
oStrong analytical skills with a "Business Analyst" mindset for problem-solving.
oHigh tolerance for structured reporting and rigorous documentation requirements.
Preferred Credentials
โ€ข PMP, CAPM, or PMI-PBA certification.
โ€ข Experience in the Cybersecurity domain.
โ€ข Prior background as a Business Analyst (BA).
