Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) organization has a rare opportunity to play a part in building a critical Oracle Cloud Service. You will assist in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives. The position regularly interacts across functional areas with senior engineering management or executives to ensure that the objectives are met. The Senior Manager of Engineering in the OCI Data & AI services group will be responsible for development, design, global operations, planning, forecasting and execution of a critical Cloud Service. Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Setting the technical direction for the architectural in collaboration with other senior technical resources.
  • Developing strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business objectives in partnership with leaders across various Oracle business groups and customers.
  • Drive innovation through advancement of OCI data services.

  • Leads teams, or a small group, owning a significant application surface area (e.g., multiple services/features) with measurable reliability, security, and performance outcomes.

Software Development and Coding - Design, Testing, and Optimization:

  • Leads teams and provides technical recommendations and guidance in designing software solutions and identifying, analyzing and ensuring alignment with requirements.
