Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Configuration Manager Analyst I in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services. Founded in 1999 by Travis Mack, Saalex Solutions is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned and Operated business with prime and subcontract expertise serving the Navy, Army, Air Force, NASA, corporate clients, and local governments. Position Type: Contingent on Contract Award.

Salary: $89k-$119k (depending on experience)

The Configuration Manager Analyst I supports the Navy by managing configuration control processes, documentation, and system baselines for IT, cybersecurity, and engineering systems supporting global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. 

Essential Functions:

  • Support configuration management (CM) activities for IT systems and documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining configuration baselines and tracking configuration items (CIs).
  • Support documentation of system changes, updates, and version control.
  • Assist with configuration control processes and change tracking.
  • Maintain CM records, logs, and documentation repositories.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to gather and update configuration data.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Required:

  • 1-3 years of experience in configuration management, IT, engineering, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with configuration management principles, tools, or documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with CM tools (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, CM databases, or version control systems).

Desired:

  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs. 
  • Familiarity with EIA-649, ITIL, or similar configuration management frameworks. 
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, or system baselines. 

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
