Job Description

This Product Analyst will be a member of the Value-Added Services division and will be responsible for the continued product development and commercialization of the Visa Data Manager (VDM) products.

VDM provides Visa clients access to a best-in-class data warehouse, business analytics, and reporting information related to client payment transactions and cardholder spending habits. The team is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and developing new products and services that leverage data and automated communications, including the strategic Open Analytics initiative aimed at expanding data accessibility and client self-service capabilities.

This role will contribute to developing the VDM product roadmap and priorities, working with technical partners to establish and groom business requirements and delivery schedules. This person will also work closely with regional product partners, sales teams, and key internal stakeholders across teams and functions.

Responsibilities include:

  • AI-Assisted Product Development: Leverage AI tools including Claude to accelerate the development of business requirements, working backwards documents, product specifications, and go-to-market materials.
  • Product Priorities and Roadmap: Establish and communicate VDM product priorities and roadmap, including development of a roadmap to enable greater client self-service capabilities within the platform.
  • AI Conversationalist Development: Partner with VDM data engineering teams to support the development and delivery of the AI Conversationalist, a natural language query capability that enables clients to access and explore their portfolio data through conversational interactions.
  • Product User Acceptance: Perform UAT testing on newly released functionality.
  • Operational Excellence: Coordinate cross-functional groups within Visa, including Implementations and Support, to ensure timely management of issues, operational excellence, and accurate reporting data.
  • Client Implementation Support: Partner with implementation teams to onboard new clients to VDM, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup experience and driving time to value.
  • Client Onboarding and Enablement: Develop and maintain user onboarding materials and processes that help clients quickly adopt and maximize the value of the VDM platform.
  • Go-To-Market Activities: Contribute to the development of go-to-market materials for new functionality and new product launches, including sales overview presentations and materials used in client-facing meetings.
  • Sales Support: Provide product expertise and analytical support during client sales conversations, helping to articulate the value of VDM and the Open Analytics strategy to prospective and existing clients.
  • Client Activities: Provide analytical insight and assist clients with the execution of their reporting utilizing the VDM tool.
  • Customer Service Liaison: Serve as the primary product liaison with customer service teams on data-related client questions, ensuring issues are resolved accurately and efficiently.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain product performance reporting and statistics including global and performance dashboards, end-user engagement metrics, feature usage dashboards, KPIs, and OKRs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, product analytics, or a related field within financial services, fintech, or payments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience working with data and analytics platforms, business intelligence tools, or data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience grooming and managing product backlogs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and client-facing narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, sales, and client-facing teams.
  • Experience supporting or leading client implementations, onboarding, or go-to-market activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling product materials and present to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, or natural language processing concepts is a plus, particularly as they relate to data accessibility and client self-service.


Information for US Applicants

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $104,600.00 to $ 162,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
