Location: Woodhaven, Michigan

Pay: $25 per paid hour

Expected Weekly Gross: $1,750 based on approximately 70 paid hours

Annualized Earnings: Approximately $91,000

Schedule: Five consecutive days on the road followed by two days home

Good Tree Supply, an Amazon Freight Partner, is hiring CDL-A drivers for dedicated five-day interstate routes.


This position is ideal for professional drivers who want consistent weekly work, predictable home time, and an assigned Amazon-branded sleeper tractor. Drivers remain on the road for five consecutive days and return home for two scheduled days off.


Compensation

  • $25 for every paid hour
  • Approximately 70 paid on-duty hours per completed weekly block
  • Expected gross pay of $1,750 per completed week
  • Approximately $91,000 annualized when working 52 complete scheduled weeks
  • This position is paid at straight time and does not include an overtime premium


Actual earnings depend on hours worked, completed assignments, attendance, approved leave, and weeks worked. This is an hourly position and not a guaranteed salary.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on interstate routes
  • Follow all DOT and FMCSA hours-of-service requirements
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs and duty-status records
  • Plan fuel, parking, rest, and available driving hours throughout the tour
  • Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  • Report defects, delays, safety concerns, and breakdowns promptly
  • Use Amazon Relay, ELD, GPS, and company communication systems
  • Respond professionally to authorized route changes
  • Protect assigned equipment and keep the tractor ready for service
  • Maintain safe, reliable, and on-time performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • At least 21 years old
  • Experienced CDL-A drivers and qualified recent graduates are welcome
  • Recent graduates must provide a strong recommendation from their CDL school
  • Current DOT medical certification or ability to obtain it
  • Must meet Good Tree Supply, Amazon, DOT, and applicable insurance driving-record requirements
  • Must be eligible to perform DOT safety-sensitive duties and have a โ€œnot prohibitedโ€ FMCSA Clearinghouse status
  • Able to pass required pre-employment drug testing, background screening, and qualification review
  • Meet FMCSA English-language proficiency requirements
  • Able to complete required training, orientation, and road testing
