Operating in a hybrid capacity out of Cambridge, MA or Reston, VA, this leadership position drives total lifecycle management and regulatory alignment for government-furnished assets, contractor-acquired materials, and corporate capital items. The incoming leader will champion operational compliance across multiple regional hubs, shaping robust oversight mechanisms, elevating audit readiness, and mentoring a dedicated team of property specialists within an elite technical ecosystem.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead comprehensive oversight across all stages of government property management, ensuring strict alignment with federal lifecycle standards.

  • Direct day-to-day operations for property staff, setting clear objectives, providing actionable feedback, and cultivating staff development.

  • Manage talent workflows within the asset management group, including hiring, performance evaluation, and operational resource allocation.

  • Champion cross-functional collaboration alongside supply chain networks, program leadership, and logistics units to streamline material workflows.

What You Bring
  • Active Secret Clearance verified prior to start date.

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and direct professional experience.

  • 8+ Years of progressive experience in Government Property Management.

  • 2+ Years of direct leadership and personnel supervision experience within Government Asset Governance.

  • Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance expertise, including deep familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 and FAR Part 45.

  • Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) mastery, specifically DFARS and DFARS 

  • Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and Item Unique Identification Registry (IUID Registry) operational proficiency.

  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) certification, such as Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA), strongly preferred.

  • Information Technology and Information Systems experience strongly preferred.

  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership, Contract Negotiation, and strategic stakeholder collaboration skills.
