Job description

We empower Americans to take charge of their healthcare. Presidio is America’s 1st pro-life, Christian health insurance company. We’re creating a health insurance experience that is simple, transparent, and genuinely human-centered in design, one that makes navigating coverage feel straightforward and empowering rather than confusing and impersonal.

Guided by authentic Christian and Catholic principles, we uphold the dignity of every human life. Americans deserve better than a broken system that prioritizes profits over people and forces moral compromises on families. Presidio is building a superior alternative: human dignity first, world-class service for anyone who wants trustworthy coverage without compromise.

We launched recently and have been deeply encouraged by the strong response from Americans seeking life-affirming health insurance. We’re a startup: fast-moving, lean, and bold. Every role offers real ownership and meaningful impact. The work is challenging but deeply purposeful, and we’d be grateful if you’d prayerfully consider joining us in creating a fortress of hope in a broken healthcare system.

ABOUT THE JOB

Working with the COO, the Head of Sales & Distribution will lead Presidio Healthcare’s sales efforts and execution across key markets — initially Texas and Florida — with national expansion in view.

This role has two primary functions:

  • Leading broker agency distribution strategy — serving as Presidio’s primary advocate, strategist, and representative to the broker community, and
  • Owning and scaling the inside sales organization.

On the distribution side, this role mirrors a best-in-class carrier approach: building durable broker partnerships, translating market needs into internal action, and ensuring brokers have the tools, clarity, and confidence to successfully sell Presidio’s products.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Broker, FMO & Agency Distribution

Lead Presidio’s broker and agency distribution strategy across assigned markets, with accountability for sustainable membership growth and partner success.

Serve as a trusted advocate for brokers and consumers — bringing field insights, friction points, and opportunities back to internal teams to inform strategy, operations, and product decisions.

Identify, onboard, and grow long‑term distribution partners aligned with Presidio’s mission and growth objectives.

Ensure brokers and agencies are fully enabled with clear positioning, training, and tools to confidently sell Presidio products.

Represent Presidio at broker meetings, FMO events, conferences, and community gatherings as a credible, mission‑aligned leader.

Deliver high‑touch partner support while meeting or exceeding growth goals, and synthesize market performance, competitive intelligence, and partner feedback for executive leadership.

Act as the internal expert on broker workflows, escalations, compensation structures, and cross‑functional coordination, while supporting geographic expansion, new products, and pricing decisions.

Build, train, manage, and scale Presidio’s inside sales team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.

Design and continuously improve inside sales workflows, scripts, follow‑up cadence, conversion standards, and CRM processes.

Establish clear KPIs, accountability frameworks, and quality standards to drive predictable, compliant enrollment performance.

Translate frontline insights from inside sales into actionable feedback for product, marketing, and leadership teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in healthcare or insurance sales, including senior leadership roles within a carrier, MGA, FMO, or high‑growth distribution organization.

Proven ability to build, train, and scale inside sales teams while also leading broker, FMO, and agency distribution strategies, from partner identification and enablement to performance management and advocacy.

Strong track record of building long‑term relationships with brokers, agencies, and cross‑functional internal teams, and serving as an effective broker advocate within the organization.

Deep understanding of insurance distribution models, broker economics, compliance requirements, and competitive market dynamics.

Operationally disciplined and data‑driven, with hands‑on experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent) to manage pipeline, performance, and reporting.

Confident, executive‑level communicator and leader, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders, leading teams, and representing the company in market‑facing settings.

Entrepreneurial and start‑up oriented, with the ability to build systems, teams, and processes in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.

Based in the United States; must reside in or be willing to travel extensively within Texas or Florida, with up to 25% travel.

SALARY RANGE

The base pay for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, with eligibility for sales commissions based on performance. The compensation range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of factors. Actual compensation may vary based on (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, geographic location, and business considerations. In addition to base pay and commissions, this role is eligible for employee benefits, participation in Presidio’s flexible time off program.
