Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for operations of assigned departments and the integration of the service within overall hospital functions. Collaborates in decision-making structures and processes. Accountable for the implementation of an effective and continuous program to measure, assess and improve performance. Assures a high level of customer satisfaction. Manages productivity to achieve budgetary targets. Must be willing to assume twenty-four hour responsibility for facility.

    What qualifications you will need:
    • Hospital experience required
    • Bachelor of Science or equivalent. Masterโ€™s degree in Business or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of three to five years in comparable position preferred.
    • Demonstrates ability to effectively manage department(s) quality service, budgets and staffing. Also, appropriately establishes priorities. Demonstrates ability to anticipate problems and works effectively to resolve issue and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to patients, physicians, administration, peers and staff. Must have a willingness to participate in guidance and counseling of personnel. Proficiency in computer skills, critical thinking skills, and public speaking skills. Knowledgeable of local, state, and federal regulations that impact areas of their responsibility.
