We are seeking a Property Assistant Manager to join our team. This role provides support across multiple apartment communities in the Southwest Houston area. As a floater, you'll step in to assist onsite teams with leasing, resident relations, rent collection, renewals, and general property operations. You'll play a key part in ensuring a smooth resident experience while helping each community meet performance goals.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in different environments, enjoys variety in their workday, and has the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing needs. You'll gain valuable experience working with multiple properties, teams, and residents while building a strong foundation for future growth in property management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day operations across assigned properties
  • Support leasing efforts by greeting prospects, conducting tours, and processing applications
  • Handle resident relations, including renewals, service requests, and general inquiries
  • Collect rent, process payments, and assist with delinquencies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in Yardi (or similar property management software)
  • Partner with property managers to support operational and financial goals
  • Uphold company policies and standards at every community you support

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in property management, leasing, or related customer service field preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with different teams and environments
