Maintenance Account Manager Apprentice

Mill Brothers Landscape Group Northern Colorado

Mill Brothers Landscape Group is a second-generation, family-owned company with over 45 years of experience creating and maintaining exceptional outdoor environments throughout Northern Colorado. We specialize in commercial landscape maintenance, irrigation management, snow removal, landscape construction, and commercial fencing.

As our maintenance division continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and career-focused Maintenance Account Manager Apprentice to join our team. This position is designed for individuals looking to transition from the field into management or begin a long-term career in landscape account management. Working alongside experienced Account Managers and Production Managers, you will gain hands-on experience in client relations, estimating, enhancement sales, operations, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Account Managers in managing assigned commercial landscape maintenance and snow removal accounts.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to ensure quality standards and contract specifications are being met.
  • Build professional relationships with clients, property managers, HOAs, and vendors.
  • Assist in identifying, estimating, and selling landscape enhancement opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, work orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with Production Managers, irrigation technicians, and field crews to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Respond to client requests and assist in resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Learn budgeting, contract administration, scheduling, and account management processes.
  • Maintain accurate records, inspection reports, and communication logs.
  • Participate in snow removal operations during winter weather events, including occasional nights and weekends.
  • Professionally represent Mill Brothers Landscape Group in all interactions.
  • Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, irrigation, customer service, or other green industry roles.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license with an insurable driving record required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
