Villa Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our Villa Fresh Italian quick service restaurant team at La Palmera Mall in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including team leadership, guest service, food quality, financial performance, staffing, training, inventory management, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to creating an exceptional experience for both guests and team members.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage all daily restaurant operations.
  • Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop team members.
  • Create a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Ensure excellent guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor labor, food costs, inventory, sales, and other operating expenses.
  • Manage ordering, inventory levels, cash handling, and financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company policies.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales and improve restaurant profitability.
  • Conduct team meetings and provide ongoing performance feedback.
  • Partner with mall management and company leadership as needed.
  • Lead by example and remain actively involved in restaurant operations.

What You'll Need
  • Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience; General Manager experience is preferred.
  • Quick-service or fast-casual restaurant experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing labor, food costs, inventory, scheduling, and restaurant financial performance.
  • Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain a high-performing team.
  • Strong problem-solving and guest-service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
  • Food safety certification is preferred or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
