Job description

Majestic Care ABA is new to the area and looking to grow our team! We are looking for dynamic Registered Behavioral Technicians to join our team!

· Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education or related field preferred but not necessary.

· Experience working directly with children within a behavioral format preferred but not necessary.

· Completion of 40-hour RBT training course.

· Valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate encouraged. (We will train if any individual if not currently registered)

· Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

· 18 years of age or older.

· Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

· Basic computer skills desired with willingness to advance skill level.

· Accept assignment of location or client as required.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Job Requirement

· Treat clients with respect and dignity

· Appropriately engage client during the session

· Act as a role model for clients and caregivers

· Be consistent, reliable, and provide services on agreed scheduled days. In case of cancellation, attempt to make up the session and notify BCBA of any discrepancies.

· Maintain professional and effective communication with family/caregivers.

· At minimum will be supervised by a BCBA weekly or in accordance to the client’s treatment plan and must be ready to provide feedback to the BCBA on progress

· Will meet with supervisor weekly or in accordance with the client’s treatment plan to discuss progress, program development, and analyzing of data of child.

· Notes should be taken daily in Rethink during the last 15 minutes of the session.

· Session notes require parent signatures for in-home therapy sessions.

· Data collection and notes should be taken on devices given by Majestic Care ABA, and not personal devices.

· Keep a weekly reinforcement checklist and let BCBA know if anything additional is needed.

· Maintain clean and organized toys and materials.

· Not responsible for other children in the household

Job Responsibilities

· Charting and collecting ABA and skill data on the improvement or lack thereof in the abilities of the child.

· Implement ABA teaching techniques during session, such as, differential reinforcement, shaping, chaining, task analysis, and prompting, fading, and proactive strategies.

· Follow programming objectives and follows treatment plan (BIP when applicable)

ABA therapy is an evidence-based approach to behavior and skill development that relies on consistent, reliable staff to deliver structured, individualized interventions—ensuring continuity of care, accurate data collection, and meaningful, lasting progress for each client.
