Napa Post Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you're a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping facilities operating smoothly, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the overall maintenance and appearance of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility by:

  • Assisting with general building maintenance and repairs
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance tasks
  • Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Completing basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects
  • Maintaining grounds and outdoor areas as needed
  • Assisting with equipment inspections and minor repairs
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and facility standards
  • Transporting supplies and equipment when necessary
  • Keeping maintenance areas organized and stocked
Qualifications
  • Previous maintenance, facilities, building services, or handyman experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
