Description

The Holiday Inn Express-Ballantyne is currently seeking individuals for the positions of General Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel.

ย As our Maintenance Engineer 1, you will maintain the hotel's assets through ongoing preventative maintenance programs and ensures that all mechanical systems are operating in accordance with the hotel's and StepStone Hospitality's standards. You will promote quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. Scheduled hours will vary weekly between Monday-Sunday. Weekdays, weekends, and holidays are required.

The responsibilities of the General Maintenance Engineer 1 include but are not limited to:

Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.

Replace air conditioner filters.

Maintain, air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.

Maintain standards of quality guest service.

Tend to pool area including chemical balancing, cleaning, etc.

Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.

Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
