Position: Maintenance Assistant
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday–Friday with on call shifts)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

What You’ll Do

As a vital member of our team, you’ll help ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and preventive care on equipment and building systems

  • Handling repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical—within scope)

  • Conducting regular inspections for safety and code compliance

  • Maintaining grounds, parking areas, and walkways

  • Monitoring HVAC systems, water temperatures, lighting, and safety equipment

  • Completing daily/weekly logs and preventative maintenance checklists

  • Testing emergency generators weekly

  • Coordinating with other departments to minimize disruption

  • Supervising or assisting outside contractors

  • Responding to on-call emergencies as needed

  • Keeping maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe
