Job description

Maintenance Team Member
Being a part of the Maintenance Team at Ambriant at Avondale is an exciting opportunity for a highly rewarding career in a fast-paced environment. The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for working with the Maintenance Director to maintain the facilities at our senior living community.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Completes assigned tasks to maintain the facilities at our senior living community
  • Completes tasks including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, maintaining the grounds, repairing electrical, painting, plumbing, cleaning gutters, HVAC, appliances, and trash removal
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of the Maintenance Department
  • Completes routine inspections of life safety systems
  • Completes the maintenance and repairs of residential units as assigned
  • Assists in preparing a unit for a new move in by completing assigned tasks and repairs
  • Works with Maintenance Director to ensure tasks are performed within budget
  • Works with the Maintenance Director to maintain the inventory of supplies and equipment. May make purchases with approval from the Maintenance Director
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in facility maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC
  • Any applicable certifications preferred
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
