Maintenance Team Member

Being a part of the Maintenance Team at Ambriant at Avondale is an exciting opportunity for a highly rewarding career in a fast-paced environment. The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for working with the Maintenance Director to maintain the facilities at our senior living community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Completes assigned tasks to maintain the facilities at our senior living community.
  • Completes tasks including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, maintaining the grounds, repairing electrical, painting, plumbing, cleaning gutters, HVAC, appliances, and trash removal.
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of the Maintenance Department.
  • Completes routine inspections of life safety systems.
  • Completes the maintenance and repairs of residential units as assigned.
  • Assists in preparing a unit for a new move in by completing assigned tasks and repairs.
  • Works with Maintenance Director to ensure tasks are performed within budget.
  • Works with the Maintenance Director to maintain the inventory of supplies and equipment. May make purchases with approval from the Maintenance Director.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in facility maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
  • Any applicable certifications preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
