Job Title: Maintenance ElectricianJob Description

This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment within an industrial production environment. You will work as a maintenance technician with a strong electrical emphasis, diagnosing issues in electrical cabinets and control systems, and ensuring that production lines operate safely and efficiently. While this is not a PLC programming position, you will use your understanding of sensors, motors, switches, and ladder logic to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical problems quickly.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot electrical cabinets and control-related equipment to quickly diagnose and resolve issues on the production line.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and ladder logic diagrams for effective troubleshooting and repair.
  • Use a multi-meter and other diagnostic tools to test circuits, components, and power supplies safely and accurately.
  • Build, modify, and repair electrical cabinets and related control panels to support reliable production operations.
  • Apply electrical theory to analyze power supply issues and ensure proper functioning of 3-phase and other electrical systems.
  • Work safely with electrical systems up to 480 volts, following established safety practices and procedures.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair sensors, motors, switches, wiring, and other electrical components used in industrial equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic components as part of overall maintenance responsibilities.
