Job description

Summary:

The Maintenance Field Supervisor is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of Landscape Maintenance including cleanups, mowing, mulching, pruning, trimming, edging, stick trimming, bed maintenance, operating hand tools, stand on mowers, and interfacing with customers. Requires minimal supervision and safely performs all functions while directing a crew of one to three team members. The Maintenance Field Supervisor must also attend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job while creating and maintaining a professional job atmosphere.



Role and Responsibilities

  • Look and carry yourself in a presentable manner.
  • Follow tasks and routes given to you through LMN to meticulous detail.
  • Completes Time Entry including photos & notes through LMN
  • Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety manual.
  • Lawn mowing, Weeding beds, dethatching, aeration, seeding, leaf clean up and various tasks related to landscape maintenance.
  • Properly and safely operate equipment such as Stick Edger, Hedge Trimmers and push/ stand on mower, power wheel barrow.
  • Able to report to work by 6:45 AM- 5:00PM
  • Able to communicate with supervisor in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Completes assigned tasks each day, thoroughly, and per company's production rates.
  • Train Crew Members on all maintenance aspects to BSM Standards.
  • Ensures Efficiency at End of day (roll-in), loading & preparing for an efficient roll-out the following day.
  • Follows Blade Sharpening Procedures.
  • Perform Snow Removal Duties in Winter Months.

Requirements:

  • Applicators License Turf & Landscape 3.0 (or willing to obtain)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English in oral and written forms. (or open to learn)
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable on the company's insurance policy.
  • Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility.
  • Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Able to interact with customers professionally and courteously on a daily basis.
