Job Title: Associate Maintenance System Coordinator
Shift Info: Hours: 7: 00 am - 3: 30 pm - M-F
Interviews: to be held ONSITE
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Age 18 years or older
No maintenance experience necessary
Mechanically inclined
Ability to collaborate with Maintenance personnel
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work experience, vocational or shop training, and High School classes
The purpose of this position is to support the Sheboygan site with maintenance activities.
The Maintenance System Coordinator is responsible for maintaining all Plant Maintenance data in the ERP and/or maintenance software in use at the site. This includes maintenance master data management for assets;spare parts & storeroom management;update of PM and Calibration data on based on feedback from the Maintenance and Maintenance Reliability Teams. The role manages the spare parts supply and inventory and coordination with suppliers, where appropriate.
You will help keep the entire site running by supporting the Maintenance department. While doing so, gain firsthand insight into how a Maintenance Department supports a growing, lucrative industry. You will support the Maintenance department through maintenance task observations and time studies, task digitization, shop improvement projects, and in-field equipment tagging.
Must have computer skills and/or mechanical ability. You must be able to follow all safety rules and regulations, identify unsafe work conditions, and report them to management. Conduct miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned. Contributes to department goals. Shows dignity and respect while performing duties exemplary attendance and adherence to schedule.
Uses good documentation practices. Able to receive guidance from Supervisors and Technicians. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to suggest process improvement solutions. Excellent self-motivation and productivity skills. Ability to accept responsibility and meet deadlines. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and procedures. Ability to use PC software and applications (CMMS, web browsers, Word, Excel, email) Ability to learn, redline drawings, and learn all types of drawings/schematics. Able to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic shop tools with guidance (grinder, drillpress, sand blaster, band saw, etc.). Ability to read gauges and understand units of measure. Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Use excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills to conduct Maintenance tasks.
