Job description

Position Responsibilities: 

  • The Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the facility maintenance team including hiring, supervising, professional development and offering continuous educational opportunities 
  • The Facilities Manager ensures all equipment, building and grounds are maintained and operational up to company standards 
  • As the Facilities Manager, ensure safety needs are given a top priority and supports Lock Out Tag Out execution 
  • You will also ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner and assists mechanics with machine troubleshooting 
  • The Facilities Manager oversees facility budgeting as well as champion and drive reduction of losses through breakdown analysis 
  • Facilities Managers maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides necessary consumables for the facility  
  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 plus years of related experience and 4 plus years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma or Technical School Certification with 9 plus years of specific experience and 6 plus years of leadership experience

Preferred Education and Experience:  

  • Master’s degree
