Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing both strategic and tactical activities to create and lead a World Class Productive Maintenance program and Team. This Leader will serve as an advocate for production equipment across multiple shops/processes with varying levels of technologies and serve as an organizational mento. This role will work with operational managers to define and execute maintenance activities, establish and manage to KPI’s, and allocation of resources including financials. The breadth of technology spans from welding machines, brake press, shear, plate roll, high definition CNC plasma, vacuum furnaces, to robotic thermal spraying, 3 to 5 axis machining centers, 5 axis EDMs, precision grinding machines and large 3-D printing and machining center.

Position Responsibilities

  • Directs daily activities of maintenance team.
  • Plans downtime – resources, scope and parts.
  • Creates amp; updates PM’s utilizing computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Spare parts management, including budgeting.
  • Perform trouble shooting and provide oversight of equipment repairs.
  • Manages vendor / manufacturer relationships.
  • Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained.
Required Qualifications
  • Associates degree in relevant technical field, or equivalent technical training knowledge and experience.
  • 5+ years in a maintenance leadership role.
  • Experience in reliability amp; productive maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of industrial health, safety and environmental (HS amp;E) standards and methods.
  • Ability to Plan, Organize and Direct team members to achieve results and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, drawings amp; schematics.
  • Must be fluent in English, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
