Shift: 1st Shift (Mon–Thr, 6 AM – 4:30 PM)

Location: Belton, MO

We are seeking a safety-oriented, mechanically inclined Entry Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with entry-level industrial experience or background looking to expand into industrial maintenance. We are fully willing to train the right individual on our specific machinery and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance (PM): Perform weekly PMs on cut saws, band saws, air compressors, forklifts, PIV/riser valves, and related facility equipment.
  • Equipment Care: Check blades/coolant, clean underneath saws, apply belt dressings, and conduct thorough visual inspections.
  • Press Operations: Assist with press changeovers (punch presses, etc.).
  • Facility Maintenance Inspections: Conduct weekly inspections and monthly checks.
  • Troubleshooting: Learn to diagnose basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues under standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & RequirementsTechnical & Physical Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous maintenance experience preferred (industrial, facility/building, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing, or machining background).
  • Electrical Skills: Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals (110V/120V required; experience/training with controls troubleshooting or industrial power 208V/277V/480V is a major plus).
  • Certifications: EPA or facility maintenance certifications are welcome.
  • Tools: All required tools and toolboxes are provided on-site.
  • Working Conditions: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Highly motivated to learn complex machinery and take on new responsibilities.
