Job description

Seaboard Triumph Foods, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Sioux City, Iowa who will plan, direct, and coordinate facility maintenance and engineering activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and capital projects. The Maintenance Manager will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and food safety regulations, manage maintenance and engineering staff, budgets, and parts inventory control program; utilize MP2 CMMS software to schedule and track maintenance work and maintain equipment records; coordinate maintenance planning and inventory control using MPS and SFK tools; oversee implementation and compliance with the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program to ensure safe de-energization and servicing of equipment; obtain MOCs and write appropriation requests; collaborate with operations to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety of plant equipment; oversee equipment installation, process flow design, and troubleshoot equipment failures to minimize downtime; analyze causes of equipment downtime and failures and implement engineering strategies to improve reliability, safety, and overall plant performance; and develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with production goals and regulatory standards.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a closely related field, and four years' experience in mechanical or electrical engineering within a meat production facility. Required experience to include two years experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing or processing equipment and designing maintenance strategies.
