Job Summary

 EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for Maintenance Mechanic in  Arlington VA.  This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations 
  • Perform tests, tours and analyzes data to assure the proper operation of building machinery.
  • Perform  perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior  of the building.
  • Performs maintenance on all plumbing in buildings including water and sanitation systems.
  • Perform snow removal.
  • Trains Maintenance Helpers to increase their skills.
  • Assist Engineers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 6 years' experience in a commercial environment.
  • Current CFC Universal License
  • 2 years EMS experience
  • Must be able to work any shift assigned
  • Must be to work weekends.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
  • Must be able to work safely.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Must be willing to adhere to company policies.

Physical Demands:

  • Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
