Olympus Pines is one of the fastest-growing Tommy's Express Car Wash franchise groups. We're hiring a Maintenance Apprentice to learn hands-on equipment maintenance skills while supporting our car wash equipment and facility systems at our Waldorf, MD location.

Pay: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience

You'll work alongside experienced technicians to learn how to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain car wash equipment and facility systems. This is a hands-on learning role for someone who wants to build a career in the skilled trades, no prior maintenance experience required.

What You'll Do

  • Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining car wash equipment and facility systems
  • Learn to use our work order system to document and track maintenance tasks
  • Support preventative maintenance and equipment inspections under the guidance of experienced technicians
  • Help keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and fully stocked (tools, parts, and consumables)
  • Learn equipment updates, maintenance procedures, and best practices from senior technicians
  • Help ensure all work meets Olympus Pines quality standards

What You Bring

  • Interest in developing hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and maintenance techniques
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely alongside senior technicians
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to respond outside of traditional business hours when needed
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR
  • No prior maintenance experience required, training provided

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday; lift and move items up to 75 lbs (up to 50 lbs independently, up to 75 lbs with assistance); climb an 8 foot ladder as needed; safely enter and work in a service pit for equipment maintenance; work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions; use hand and power tools safely; and perform maintenance tasks in tight or elevated spaces as needed.
