Job Summary


Our client, a leading manufacturing company specializing in steel construction systems and metal building components, is seeking a dependable Maintenance Helper to assist with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of production equipment and facility systems. This position is ideal for candidates with previous general industrial maintenance experience who are eager to expand their skills while supporting the maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities


  • Assist maintenance technicians with the repair and maintenance of production equipment and facility systems.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Help troubleshoot basic mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Clean, lubricate, and replace machine components as directed.
  • Assist with equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns.
  • Use hand and power tools safely to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Support general maintenance and facility improvement projects as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Previous general industrial maintenance experience is required.
  • Entry-level candidates with industrial maintenance experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
