We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facility Maintenance Coordinator to support the ongoing maintenance, repair, and improvement of our facility infrastructure. In this role, you will coordinate activities related to buildings, utilities, grounds, and support systems, helping to ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable work environment.

Salary Range: $68,000-$78,000
JOB FUNCTION
Coordinates and supports activities related to the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of facility infrastructure, including buildings, utilities, grounds, and support systems. Organizes and schedules preventive and corrective maintenance work to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable facility operations in compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable safety codes. Assists in managing vendor services, tracking work orders, and maintaining maintenance records, while supporting facility projects such as renovations, upgrades, and space modifications. Monitors facility conditions, identifies maintenance needs, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to prioritize work and minimize operational disruptions. Ensures adherence to established procedures, environmental and safety policies, and quality standards associated with facility maintenance functions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facility systems including building structure, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and grounds
  • Manage and maintain the CMMS by creating, updating, and closing work orders; ensure accuracy of maintenance records and documentation
  • Plan and organize daily and weekly maintenance work schedules to maximize resource utilization and minimize disruption to operations
  • Monitor facility conditions and identify maintenance needs; prioritize work based on safety, operational impact, and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate external contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of work
  • Obtain and review vendor quotes, assist with contractor selection, and track service performance against scope, cost, and quality expectations
  • Support facility-related projects such as renovations, layout changes, equipment moves (non-production), and infrastructure upgrades
  • Assist in developing and improving preventive maintenance programs, procedures, and standard work practices
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards (OSHA, ISO, etc.)
  • Promote and support safe work practices by coordinating job risk assessments, work permits, and adherence to established safety procedures
  • Communicate with production, operations, and administrative teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize interruption to business functions
  • Maintain documentation related to inspections, permits, service logs, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze maintenance data and generate reports on work completion, backlog, downtime, and recurring issues to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Assist in space planning activities and coordination of facility layouts to support organizational needs
  • Participate in emergency response coordination for facility-related issues (power outages, water leaks, system failures, etc.)
  • Support budgeting activities by tracking maintenance expenses and assisting with cost control initiatives
  • Provide input on facility improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and overall building performance
  • All other duties as assigned by Chief Engineer
