Position Summary:
The Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that all facilities, equipment, and systems are operating safely and efficiently. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Respond to maintenance requests from staff or residents in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with the setup, repair, and maintenance of furniture, fixtures, and appliances
  • Maintain safe and organized storage of tools, supplies, and equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations and company policies
  • Document all maintenance work, repairs, and inspections accurately
  • Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and general grounds upkeep as needed
  • Support special projects and facility improvements as directed by management
  • Support resident transportation needs as part of the maintenance role, ensuring safe and reliable transportation while delivering excellent resident service

Qualifications:
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record to meet transportation responsibilities and safely operate company vehicles
  • Proven experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks
