Maintenance Assistant

Heritage Hall is currently recruiting a knowledgeable Part-time Maintenance Assistant. The Maintenance Assistant performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. They maintain the grounds, parking lots, and equipment. They perform cleaning tasks as needed in the basement, storage, and utility areas. The Maintenance Assistant paints, plasters, etc. as needed and inspects all equipment to ensure its proper functioning.

Maintenance Assistant/Painter Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Trade school certificate in one or more of the major trades (job experience may be substituted)
  • At least two (2) years of experience in maintenance, construction, or power plant work
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to make decisions independently
  • Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions
