Job Summary and QualificationsThe Maintenance Apprentice will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned facilities, areas, and equipment to include minor plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, painting, heating and cooling and other building systems. An ideal candidate is willing to learn basic functions of hospital maintenance and repairs, with knowledge of maintenance procedures, and use of basic hand and power tools. To succeed in this role, the apprentice must be able to communicate clearly and display an eagerness to learn new skills.What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION

Required –High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Required – Aptitude for mechanical systems and repair work required.

OTHER:

Required- Valid active VA driving license. Must not exceed license points as outlined in the company’s Driver Safety Policy
