Job description

Job Title – Operations Supervisor / Manufacturing Compliance

Location – Coppell, Texas ( 100% onsite )

Base Salary – $70,000 Per Annum 

Must have exp with > Mail/ Inserting / Print production leadership,

  • Insertion equipment technology is helpful.
  •  Postal regulations and mailing standards
  •  Job tracking systems, shop-floor management tools, ticketing/escalation

Work Shift:   Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Ability to coordinate and guide teams across insertion and mail operations; steady decision-making during high-volume cycles.
  • Workflow Management: Skilled in sequencing jobs, managing SLAs, prioritizing critical workstreams, and adjusting schedules when the day bends in unexpected directions.
  • Quality Assurance: Strong eye for defects (print quality, folds, jams, mismatches, machine behaviors) to enforce documentation and corrective actions.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with production equipment such as inserters, and postage systems; capable of basic troubleshooting.
  • Data & Metrics: Ability to interpret production dashboards, waste reports, reprint causes, and operator performance metrics; comfortable with spreadsheets.
  • Problem Solving: Able to diagnose workflow bottlenecks, equipment issues, and process disconnects; capable of crafting practical, immediate solutions.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of print-shop safety standards—lockout/tagout basics, paper/ink/chemical handling, machine-zone precautions.
  • Documentation: Writing shift reports, exception logs, incident summaries, and SOP updates.

Qualifications:

  • Prior leadership or lead-operator experience, ideally supervising 5–20 employees
  • Experience with mailings, or compliance-controlled environments (SOC, HIPAA, PCI)
