Description
BASIC JOB SUMMARY:
The overall purpose of this job is to provide support to the Production Delivery Supervisor in the preparation and completion of mailing house services offered by TEC / MRS. Must be familiar with mailing industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience, judgment and pre-established guidelines to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The essential job functions and duties described below may not be the only requirements of the position. It may be necessary to follow other instructions or perform other related duties required by the company.
  • Process each client's mail in accordance with specific mailing instructions set forth on the Job Ticket
  • Responsible for knowing and meeting USPS (United States Postal Services) mailing standards for all mailing and printing services offered by MRS, as defined in company's procedures
  • Assists in ensuring that MRS's quality assurance standards are maintained for all mailing and printing services
  • Operate and have basic understanding of the operational functions of the following machines: Postage Meters; Tabber; Folder; & Strapper
  • Basic ability and knowledge in operating PTI sort machine

Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Education/Experience - Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have good communication, organization, and clerical skills. Mechanical aptitude required for the operation and maintenance of mailing and related production equipment. Basic knowledge and ability to work with Microsoft Office is preferred. One year of mailing services experience would be beneficial, but not required.
