Job description

Unarmed Security Officer - Service Desk Operator

This role is responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, supporting security systems and software, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for employees via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user access issues
  • Support security technology platforms including surveillance, access control, and monitoring systems
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system
  • Support onboarding/offboarding of employees by setting up or removing system access

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or service desk roles
  • VALID GUARD CARD REQUIRED
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi)
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
