Job description

Mailroom Processing Associate

On-site in far west El Paso, TX

Salary - $15 per hour

Training Schedule: Monday- Friday (8:00am - 5:30pm) Overtime may be required.

After training and moving to Production, all employees are scheduled to work on Saturdays.

  What you will be doing:   

  • Training is mandatory and attendance is very critical.
  • Training will be 2-3 weeks from 8:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
  • After training ALL employees are scheduled to work on Saturdays.
  • Mon-Sat (day off during the week) hours may vary 7:00 am- 5:30 PM 
  • Processors will arrive at the facility by 7am or as early as 6am, you are responsible for all mail processes. 
  • Receive all mail that comes into onsite mail center.
  • Open and sort all mail documents accordingly.
  • Receives documents from both electronic and hard copy forms for processing.
  • Creating and sorting scanned images, documents, files, and archives in various form types.
  • Identifies documents and their purpose and follow company processing procedures.  
  • Attention to detail is critical and ability to pick up on processes quickly is a must.

Requirements 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older. 
  • Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. 
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.  
  • Must be able to work Saturdays.

People who succeed in this role have:  

  • Previous working experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and some data entry. 
  • Ability to perform repetitive and physical movements throughout work shift.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Effective and accurate written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of Medical, Hospital and Dental insurance Claims is preferred. 
  • Strong work ethic. 

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary for this role is $15.00.
