Job description

We are looking for a dependable Mail Svcs Supervisor to support daily mail and office service operations at a client site in Austin, Texas. This is a Contract position scheduled for approximately 2 months, with the possibility of extension, and it requires an on-site presence during standard business hours. The person in this role will oversee mail handling activities, coordinate workspace readiness, and help maintain smooth day-to-day administrative support across the office.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the daily flow of incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing, sorting, printing, and assembling items for distribution.
• Oversee mailroom service activities to ensure timely processing, organized workflows, and reliable support for the site.
• Prepare meeting spaces for use by arranging conference rooms and restoring them after meetings conclude.
• Track office supply levels and restock materials as needed so teams have consistent access to essential items.
• Provide hands-on support for routine office services and assist with additional administrative duties as business needs change.
• Monitor mailroom operations for accuracy and efficiency while addressing issues that could disrupt service.
• Use basic computer applications to complete service-related tasks, maintain records, and support daily operations.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mailroom, office services, or administrative operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience coordinating or supervising day-to-day operational tasks in an office environment.
• Ability to manage physical mail processing activities, including sorting, printing, and preparing materials for delivery.
• Comfortable using basic computer functions to support workflow and documentation needs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor supplies, prioritize tasks, and maintain consistent service levels.
• Ability to work fully on site during regular Monday through Friday business hours.
