Job description

Who We're Looking For:

Experienced Operators for Mail Inserters

Experienced Print Machine Operators

Experienced Operators for Multi-Line Optical Character Reader (MLOCR) lines.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Ensure that all equipment is set up correctly and manned with a competent work force.
  2. Oversee machine processing on multiple lines.
  3. Oversee quality assurance measures including spot checking of tray labeling, strapping, and cage placards.
  4. Provide complete and accurate VAR documentation to the USPS acceptance clerk.
  5. Meet processing schedules for timely truck pick-ups
  6. Other job-related instructions as requested by the Presort Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to read and write in English
  2. Ability to communicate effectively with the Presort Supervisor.
  3. Ability to give clear instructions and ensure they are followed.
  4. Ability to follow instructions.
  5. Knowledge of USPS rules, regulations and procedure is a PLUS
