Job description

Slide Dispatcher | Magic Springs Theme & Water Park
Position Type: Seasonal | Pay: Starting at $11.00/hour
Weekends-Only Position Starting 8/8!

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Safely dispatch guests from children's water slides in accordance with park operating procedures.
  • Ensure riders meet all height, age, and safety requirements before allowing them to ride.
  • Monitor slide entry areas and maintain proper spacing between riders.
  • Provide clear instructions and safety information to guests before dispatch.
  • Enforce Park rules and politely address unsafe behavior.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free slide platform.
  • Communicate with lifeguards and supervisors regarding ride operations and guest concerns.
  • Assist guests with questions and provide friendly customer service.
  • Respond appropriately during emergencies by following established park procedures.
  • Perform opening, operating, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Assist with general water park operations when needed.
  • Attend all required training sessions and safety meetings.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests of all ages.
  • Must be vigilant, attentive, and committed to safety.
  • Must remain alert and focused throughout an entire shift.
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection.
  • Available to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods.
