Job description

The Machinist/Toolmaker is a self-driven worker who has great attention for detail and is proficient at multitasking. The ideal candidate will perform the programming and operation of various machine tools.
How you will make an impact:ย 
  • Will be exposed to multiple machines and controllers including HAAS, Mazak and DMG-Mori on 3 to 5 axis machining centers and mill turns in prototype machine shop environment
  • Working knowledge ofย SolidWorks, SolidCam or other comparable CAD/CAM software
  • Program, set up and operate machining centers and lathes as jobs dictate
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
  • 5-8ย yearsโ€™ relevant machining experience
  • Experience with the set-up and operation of milling machines, lathes, CNC machines and precision measuring equipment
  • Must have familiarity and skill with all the commonly used machine tools (calipers, micrometers,etc)
  • Familiarity with injection mold fabrication and assembly, including grinding and fittingย 
  • Should be comfortable with Solidworks and Solidcam, as well as 3 and 4ย axis machining
  • Sinker and wire EDM experience a plus
  • Proficent with blueprint reading
  • Be able to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Demonstrated longevity and growth within positionsย
