Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00About the job: Training in the operation of a Davenport multi-spindle screw machine. Opportunities for growth: Full time extensive training is provided to the qualified candidate with expectation of becoming a Davenport multi-spindle operator. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Work closely with training personnel to further knowledge in operating Davenport multi-spindle screw machine.Read blueprint and job order for such information as dimensions, tolerances and number of work pieces to be machined per hour.Verify conformance of machined parts to specifications using a variety of gauges including; micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, comparators, etc.Perform tool changes as required.Adjust machine controls and changes tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.Clean machine, tooling and parts and removes chips from machine when necessary.Perform minor machine maintenance as required.Interact with Production Leader and Engineering staff to improve productivity and troubleshoot machining problems.Maintain cleanliness of work area utilizing 5S techniques and methods. Minimum Experience: 1-year related factory experience. Other Requirements:Ability to work collaboratively to solve problems relative to area of responsibility.Ability to adhere to safety rules, policy and procedures.Ability to adhere to employee rules, policy and procedures. Gates Albert Offers a stable environment, excellent benefits, 401(k) match and career growth.EOE, including disability/vets
