Essential Job Functions

  • Precision Machining: Machine parts to specifications using lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
  • Setup & Operation: Adjust and operate specialized machine tools for precision operations.
  • Prototyping: Create and assemble test models to prove manufacturability; suggest design improvements or alternatives.
  • Quality Control: Measure and test completed units to ensure conformance to specifications and detect defects.
  • Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and solve equipment problems to minimize downtime.
  • General Support: Produce accessories and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
