Retail Sales Manager
Anchorage, Alaska
About the Opportunity
We're excited to introduce a new leadership position within our Anchorage team. As a Retail Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and developing our inside sales team while driving revenue growth and delivering outstanding customer experiences across Alaska's machinery equipment territory.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales leader who is ready to grow, build, and make a meaningful impact within a respected Caterpillar Inc. dealership organization aligned with Harnish Group Inc.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs)
  • Drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction across the assigned territory
  • Collaborate on business plans and sales programs to support long-term success
  • Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support budgeting and resource planning for the retail sales function
  • Work cross-functionally to improve processes, systems, and customer experience
  • Align team goals with dealership and manufacturer expectations

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a leader with a passion for sales and team development. While experience in heavy equipment or machinery is valuable, we also welcome candidates with strong sales leadership backgrounds in related industries such as construction, industrial products, transportation, or business-to-business sales.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Leadership experience in sales, retail, or business operations
  • Experience coaching or supervising a team
  • Background in sales performance management and customer relationship development
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfort working with performance data and business metrics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Valid Driver's License

Education & Experience:
