The Opportunity

You will lead daily shop operations for an industry-leading industrial machining facility specializing in diverse, custom projects. This role gives you the opportunity to drive operational excellence, mentor high-performing teams, and direct operations for large-scale machining parts up to 40 feet long. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Oversee daily machine shop floor operations to maximize throughput and achieve monthly production targets.
  • Guide shop personnel in machine setup, troubleshooting, and optimal run times for complex industrial parts.
  • Manage workflow and staging for large-scale components reaching up to 40 feet in length.
  • Utilize your extensive hands-on machining background to solve technical machining bottlenecks in real time.
  • Promote high standards of safety, quality control, and precision across all machining processes.
  • Optimize production schedules to offer voluntary Friday overtime while maintaining target output.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience 
  • Extensive background as a machinist running and setting up diverse shop machinery.
  • Proven experience working with large-scale industrial parts (up to 40 feet in length).
  • Experience running Fanuc Controls 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing machine shop personnel and daily operations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and deep operational knowledge of industrial machining equipment.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Up to 20 years of related work experience in an industrial machine shop environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC programming and machine tool optimization.


Compensation & Benefits
