BASIC DESCRIPTION:

The Machine Shop Support role is a dynamic position focused on supporting manufacturing operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. This fast-paced, quality-focused role involves managing multiple responsibilities during the shift, including inspecting and packaging machined components, performing light assembly tasks, and operating material handling equipment throughout the facility. We’re looking for an individual who will demonstrate a safety-first mentality, regularly practice effective communication within a team environment, and be a team player by cross training within the department and in other areas of Components Division.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prioritize workload to meet daily and weekly production goals

  • Operate all washing and packaging equipment

  • Manages inventory control for tip inspection machines and finished goods

  • Uses inspection tools to ensure quality standards

  • Complete assembly of machined components

  • Other work duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Experience shipping materials and handling related paperwork (Familiarity with D365 is a substantial plus)

  • Comfortable with math, drawings, and measuring devices

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented, with strong communication skills.

  • Mechanically inclined with an aptitude for hands-on tasks

  • Forklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills

  • Must be willing to cross-train

  • Must be able to follow set-up directions, and understand product specifications

  • Must be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Overtime may be required
