Job description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machinists for projects located in the Sheboygan Falls, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $40/hour based on experience plus $100/day worked per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:          

  • Program, set up, and operate a Giddings & Lewis Horizontal RT 1250 with a Fanuc 310i Model A controller using FeatureCam 2025
  • Create setups and fixturing
  • Select appropriate tooling
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Manufacture parts to exact specifications
  • Program setup and run variety of machine tools to manufacture parts according to specifications
  • Check all diameters and dimensions
  • Study blueprint and plan efficient way to manufacture parts
  • Use overhead cranes to lift large parts or materials safely
  • Measure parts using precision measuring equipment
  • Maintain machine shop equipment
  • Perform machine maintenance
  • Assist in establishing procedures to manufacture parts more efficiently
  • Deburrs parts when time allows

  • You must have a high school diploma
  • 3+ years of machinist experience
  • Perform metric conversions
  • Strong working knowledge of mazatrol or other machine software
  • Read and understand blueprints specifications and routings
